Tools · Cold Email Revenue Calculator
How much revenue is in your market?
Enter your market size and see the replies, meetings, deals and revenue cold email can bring in, quarter by quarter, and the sending setup it takes.
Your market
Every company that fits who you sell to, also called your total addressable market (TAM).
The people you'd reach at each company.
The first email plus follow-ups.
Your funnel
Pick a rate for each step. The recommended rates are a sensible starting point for a list that fits and emails written for each person.
Your revenue
Average value of a new customer, in US dollars.
Your year
Q1 is your first pass through the market. After that, meetings held grow 20% each quarter: consistent, disciplined outreach makes results predictable, and the people you reached earlier remember you when the timing is right.
| Q1 | Q2 +20% | Q3 +20% | Q4 +20% | Year | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meetings held | 49 | 59 | 71 | 85 | 264 |
| Deals won | 10 | 12 | 14 | 17 | 53 |

Your sending setup
The mailboxes and domains it takes to send every contact every email within the quarter.
- Email 1Day 1
- Email 2Day 3
- Email 3Day 5
- Email 4Day 7
- Email 5Day 9
Sequence length: 9 working days, or 11–13 calendar days with weekends, depending on the start day.
Each sending domain comes with 5 mailboxes, so this setup sends from your 15 domains while your main domain sends no cold email. Plan 2–4 weeks of warmup before the quarter starts.
Let the agents run it.
Leadgenerator.io finds the people, researches each one, writes every email, sends from warmed mailboxes and books the meetings.

- Contacts are companies × contacts per company. Each contact gets the emails per contact you set: 5 by default, the first and 4 follow-ups.
- Each funnel step is the step above it × its rate, rounded to a whole number, so every number multiplies out from the one above. Revenue is deals won × average deal size.
- Each quarter after Q1, meetings held grow 20% on the quarter before. Deals won follow at your close rate.
- The sending setup fits every email to every contact into one quarter of 65 working days. A sequence takes (emails per contact − 1) × the days between emails, so new contacts start in the days before that. Mailboxes are new contacts a day ÷ new contacts per mailbox a day, rounded up, and each sending domain carries 5 mailboxes.
- A mailbox that starts n new contacts a day sends n × emails per contact a day once its follow-ups are running: that day's first emails plus the follow-ups due. Keep it at 50 or fewer.

Questions
- What reply rate should I plan for?
- The calculator recommends 0.5% of emails as a planning number. A list where every company fits and emails written for each person do better than that; one template sent to a bought list does worse.
- How many mailboxes do I need for cold email?
- Divide the new contacts you need to start each day by how many new contacts each mailbox starts a day. A mailbox that starts 5 new contacts a day sends 25 emails a day once its follow-ups are running. Each sending domain carries 5 mailboxes.
- Why not send cold email from my main domain?
- Your main domain carries invoices, proposals and customer replies. If cold email hurts its reputation, all of that lands in spam. Separate sending domains keep the risk away from it. Read more about sending domains.
- Why does the gap between emails change the number of mailboxes?
- A longer gap, or more emails per contact, makes each sequence take longer, so there are fewer days in the quarter to start new contacts and each day has to start more of them.
- Why do meetings grow every quarter?
- Consistent, disciplined outreach makes results predictable. Each quarter your market hears from you again, and the people you reached earlier remember you when the timing is right. The calculator plans for 20% more meetings held each quarter, with deals following at your close rate.
